Defining the source of a type
Use the Source/Grades Source page of the Properties dialog to define the Source of a Type.
To define the Type
Turn on the Specify check box in the Type area.
- Select Field to take a value from a field, then select the required field.
- Select Value to assign a fixed value and type the required value.
Note: If no Type is required, turn off the Type Specify check
box in the Type area.
The Status Bar in the bottom left corner of the
Properties dialog shows the Alias and equivalencies table source for the selected
field.To define the Reference
Turn on the Specify check box in the Reference area.
- Select Field to take a value from a field then select the required field.
- Select Value to assign a fixed value and type the required value.
Note: If no reference is required, turn off the Specify check box
in the Reference area.
