If you want some of the fields of a record to be represented as attributes in an
entity or link type, you must define the attribute classes.

Select the attribute class:
- To define a new attribute class, select display the Attributes dialog.
- To edit an attribute class, right-click on the attribute class in the
tree view of the Types Page and select Edit.
- To copy an existing attribute class, right-click on the attribute class
in the tree view of the Types Page and select Copy. A
copy of the attribute class is created below the existing attribute class in
the tree view.

Define the general properties of the attribute class on the General page.

When you have defined the general settings, click on the Properties tab to
define more detailed properties.

When you have finished defining the attribute class, click
OK.
A warning message appears if the attribute class is being used by any other
fields.
