Turning on Security Classification Codes control
Standard (SCC) security restricts record access based on membership of specific user groups. By restricting access on a need to know basis, restricted data can be accessed by authorized users but not generally available.
About this task
Security Classification Codes must be set up before you enable SCC control.
Note: If you would like to restrict a set of records for access by the same group of users, the
alternative to Standard (SCC) control is to enable Case Control.
Procedure
To turn on Security Classification Code control:

- On the Advanced page, enter your Restrict SCC Lists to Accessible Items Only.
- Select OK.
