Previewing Data

To preview data from a database table, right-click on the table in the tree view or on the table header in the panel and select Preview Data.

To preview data concerning a relationship, right-click on the relationship and select Preview Data.

A dialog appears showing a subset of records from the table. The initial number of records shown depends on the Default number of records to preview value specified in the Properties dialog. To change the maximum number of records displayed, edit the entry locally in the Maximum records on the Preview Data dialog and click Refresh or close the dialog and change the default in the Properties dialog.

To reorder the records, click on the column headings. To resize a column, drag the column header cell rulings to the left or right.

Note: The date format displayed in this dialog depends on the settings specified in your Windows Regional and Language Options.
