Searching for data
i2 Explore enables you to search for and learn more about the records in the data that your organization holds. Over time, you can build a picture of your investigation by keeping a list of the records that are of interest to you.
To search for data:
Type one or more search terms into the search field in the application header, and press Return.
i2 Explore displays a list of the records in the database that match your search terms. In this example, the search term "john" returned 17 records.
If your search returned a lot of results, you can refine it by adding more search terms, or by applying filters to the results.
From the list of search results, you can click a flag icon to add to your records of interest, or click the name of a record to see how it's connected to other records in your data.
