User palettes contain item types, attribute classes, and attribute entries. You can
change the contents of a user palette. Modifying the contents and appearance of the user palette can
help organize their content to make finding item types and attributes easier to speed up chart
creation.
To modify the content of an existing user palette:

Click .
The Chart Properties window is shown.

Click Definitions and then select the page that you are interested
in:
- Entity types
- Link types
- Attribute classes
- Attribute entries

Select the entity types, link types, attribute classes, or attribute entries that you want to
add to or remove from the user palette.

Click Properties and select the palettes to add the types and attribute
entries.

Click OK.
The modified user palette is shown in the list of palettes in the Insert from
Palette pane, and in the User Palettes window. Tip: To
set up user palettes that you want to use in many different charts, save your chart as a
template.
