Explore for iBase Authentication options
i2 Explore for iBase supports three authentication modes: iBase authentication, Active Directory authentication, and Entra ID authentication.
iBase authentication: Uses the existing iBase user accounts and passwords to authenticate users. This is the default mode, which does not require additional configuration.
Active Directory authentication: Uses an Active Directory Controller and LDAP server to authenticate users. You must complete the configuration steps in Configuring Active Directory for i2 Explore for iBase before deploying the application.
Entra ID authentication: Uses Microsoft Entra ID to authenticate users. You must complete the configuration steps in Configuring Entra ID for i2 Explore for iBase before deploying the application.
You can configure the authentication mode in the Administration Console or by editing the configuration files manually. For more information, see Configuration Properties.
