Upgrading License Manager
To meet the licensing requirements of Analyst's Notebook and iBase, you need to upgrade from the Product Access Management (PAM) license server to the Sentinel RMS License Manager.
About this task
This task describes how to uninstall the PAM license server in order to upgrade to Sentinel RMS License Manager 10.1 or later.
Procedure
From your Windows desktop, go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
Find Product Access Management (PAM) License Server in your apps list, and click the three dots to the right of it. The Modify and Uninstall options are displayed.
Click Uninstall and follow the prompts to remove the PAM license server.
Note: If you are upgrading from an existing RMS License Manager on the same workstation, you can uninstall it from your apps list as above. If you intend to move the license server to a different workstation, you must revoke your network licenses first. Find out more about revoking licenses for reallocation.
What to do next
After uninstalling the PAM license server, you can proceed with installing the Sentinel RMS License Manager. These instructions will guide you through the installation and configuration of the software.
Note: License Manager 10.1 supports Analyst's Notebook and iBase. If you are already using License Manager 10.1, you do not need to upgrade to License Manager 10.2.
