Folder for documents used as templates
To be used as template, documents must be saved in the same folder as the database, with a file name that starts with the database name, and the .docx file extension. There is nothing to prevent you from saving the file with a .dot file extension but the report wizard uses only *.docx files.
For example, if the status bar shows the open database as being:
C:\Databases\Vehicles\Vehicles.idb
then, you might name a document:
C:\Databases\Vehicles\Vehicles Template 1.docx
Note: After a document is added as a template, close then re-open the report wizard or report definition to refresh the list.
