Standalone hub licenses
Activate a standalone hub license to use both Analyst's Notebook and iBase on the same workstation, without consuming two licenses.
About this task
If you use your Entitlement ID (EID) to separately activate both Analyst's Notebook and iBase on the same workstation, you consume two licenses. You can avoid the unnecessary consumption of an extra license by following these activation steps.
Procedure
Activate Analyst's Notebook:
Open Analyst's Notebook. If the Activate Analyst's Notebook dialog does not open, click Activate in the Activation required banner.
Select Enter a license key.
Enter your Entitlement ID (EID) and follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation.
Activate iBase:
Open iBase. If the Activate iBase dialog does not open, click Activate in the Activation required banner.
Select Install a license file.
Click Browse to license file. The Windows File Open dialog opens.
Browse to the ProgramData folder. The folder is hidden by default, so you can either navigate to the C: drive, click View and select Hidden items, or type C:\ProgramData\i2\Licensing\ANB.lic in the File Name address bar and click Open.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation.
Results
You are licensed to use both Analyst's Notebook and iBase on your workstation, and have only used one license entitlement.
