Setting performance options
Use the Performance page of the Options window to specify performance options such as animation and rendering.
Click File > Options to open the Options window. Click Performance in the Options menu and make your changes as required. The options are global application settings and are not saved as part of a chart or template. The settings persist until changed, regardless of the chart you are working on.

Animate Auto Hide of Docking Panes | Auto hidden panes open or close quickly when the cursor is placed over them. Select the animated option to slow down this action. |
Animate Chart Effects and Interactions | Enable an animated effect as you zoom in and out of areas on the chart surface. Deselect this option to snap between zoom levels. |
Drag Hand Throws if Moving when Released | Enable or disable the drag hand throwing action on the chart. |
High Quality Drawing Mode | Choose whether or not to use high-quality drawing mode. This mode is useful for printing a chart to PDF or for presentations. |
