Connector Designer release history
This document provides an overview of the new features, enhancements, and bug fixes in each version of the Connector Designer software.
At each release, i2 reviews Connector Designer's dependencies and updates any that have security vulnerabilities. For the best experience, i2 recommends using the newest version of Connector Designer.
v1.1.0 released March 25, 2025
Connector Designer 1.1.0 is a minor release that includes new features, bug fixes, and security updates.
Added
- Connector Designer now allows you to add and remove the charting schemas after a connector has been created.
- Additional tooltips have been added for further clarity.
Changed
- Connector Designer no longer makes a public npmjs registry call when publishing a connector.
- The mapping instructions within a service remain present until a mapping has been made.
- Connector Designer now outlines the required inputs if they are missing in the service input tab.
Fixed
- Connector Designer now successfully creates links of the same entity type when matching the seed in seeded searches.
- DT00389 Editing an endpoint in Connector Designer may result in existing mappings being deleted.
- Connector Designer now makes requests through the server instead of the browser preventing CORS issues.
- Connector Designer now supports the usage of spaces and reserved words from database source tables and columns within connectors.

- DT00388 Connectors may display an error when returning results if a datetime2 field has been mapped to a 'Date and Time' logical type.

Connector Designer 1.0.1 is a patch release that includes new features and bug fixes.
Added
- In an SQL connector, you can now seed queries from the date properties of chart records.
Changed
- If your login session expires, Connector Designer now prompts you to log in instead of redirecting you to the Analyst's Notebook web client.
Fixed
- Connector Designer now displays the correct number of link mappings in a collapsed entity mapping.
- When you delete a data source or an endpoint from the connector editor, Connector Designer now also deletes any associated mappings.
- You can now use special characters in service names without affecting your ability to publish connectors.
- When you hover on the rows of the table selection dialog, their appearance no longer changes incorrectly.
- The table selection dialog no longer displays a warning about table exclusion when all tables are included.
- You can now use the Tab key to navigate between fields without causing Connector Designer to display a blank screen.
- When you publish an SQL connector, Connector Designer now reports its progress and completes successfully.
