i2 Explore requires that i2 iBase version 10.1.0 is installed and properly configured in accordance with your organization's specifications. For more information about installing and deploying i2 Explore, see the i2 Explore for iBase documentation.

To use the text search functionality in i2 Explore for iBase, Search 360 must be enabled in the connected iBase database.

With read-only access to iBase Hub via any modern web browser, users can safely explore and analyze data without the risk of modifying or deleting records. i2 Explore is fully governed by the iBase security model, ensuring consistent access control and data integrity across your organization.

Limitationi2 Explore for iBase requires that the iBase database, security database and tempdb database use the same SQLServer Collation.

1 Microsoft Windows 10 support will be deprecated in a future Explore for iBase release.

Note: i2 products are supported on hardware virtualization environments that run any of the operating systems that are listed in the detailed system requirements. When you run in a virtual environment, any issues that can be replicated by i2 in a supported operating system are addressed by using the standard support policy. Trial editions of i2 Analyst's Notebook cannot be run in virtualized environments.

Note: The minimum hardware specifications specified in the table will allow customers to install and deploy i2 Analyze which is shipped with i2 Explore iBase on a single machine using the example deployment shipped with the on-prem toolkit. Hardware specs for an optimal i2 Analyze deployment are dependant on the expected amount of data to be loaded and user usage.
