Finding a mapped chart item

When large amounts of data are placed on a mapping surface, it can be hard to correlate charted items with their representations on a chart surface. Items that are listed as sent to the chart surface can be used to control the focus of the mapping application.

To find a mapped item:

Select a chart item on the charting surface or on the Sent Items page of the Google Earth pane.
Click Find Selected Item in Google Earth.
This command causes Google Earth to center and zoom to that location.
